• I was shocked when it revealed that I was 24% Nigerian, 17% England, Wales, NorthWestern Europe, 10% Portugal, 2% Spain, 1% Indigenous Puerto Rico, Indigenous Haiti, Dominican, French and so on. My family is from the island so reading history this does not surprise me that there are indeed a variation of Puerto Rican’s.
• The so called 'recessive' gene etc is. Because most Eritreans specially the 'highlanders' belong to 'Semitic' group of people (middle eastern ancestry), that is over 5000+ years old gene pool. The gene seems to be 'recessive' or adoptive because it has links with the other races that surround the Red Sea and the Mediterranean as well.

The map of the human genome shows that the DNA of human populations across the world is a continuum. Genes that are obviously different between races include those that allow each population to adapt to new latitudes, maximize their success in certain environments, and protect them from the diseases that people are exposed to.
